Your glasses are like mirrors.
Oh my my my, what a sight for sore eyes,
as I came in from the heavy weight of adolescence,
tired, but never exhausted enough to take a lingering look,
wondering what a sight it must have been, me with her and her with me.
Should have, would have, but could have never refused her hand,
as she laughed along the glowing sidewalk, much brighter than my own
and capturing hearts, and everytime, she would capture mine.
A sad, desperate transition as she floated on by, everytime.
She was mine, captivating, possessing, and never forgetting,
I would find myself watching as she stepped outside, clenching my fists
as a stranger walked by. Clen

Adolescence is like a kick in the teeth.
I'd never refused,
and it's doubtful I ever will,
her hand.
Even now, as I aimlessly wander
through the bittersweet and tender
time of my life that, at last I've come to surrender,
and try my hardest not to remember.
The years filled with colour,
and a necessity to render
myself as I pleased,
stay delicate and vague.
She stands out on the days
where the sun,
rays like gossamer,
never seemed to fade.

Today I was early.
Today, on the way to a friend's house, I came across a path which I had come across many times before. I had never ventured down it. I had never had the time, or the energy. But today, I was early, and so I turned down the path and followed it until I reached a lush field. Although I had no idea where I was going or where it would lead me, I followed the path round until I reached a stone bridge, crossing the river that passed through. I stood on that bridge for about ten minutes, watching the river. I felt a little of the weight on my shoulders wash away with that river, and for a short while, I didn't feel like I was in the place that I was

Well, it is the holidays. Therefore I'm avoiding doing as much work as possible. xD
